Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996), prototype of piece with spiral, ca. 1978
two clear glass plates with inclusion of spiral in blue and light green
produced for Seguso, Murano, Italy
33 x 27 cm
good condition; some scratches and a tension tear (happened during production: the inner part of the spiral has not reconciled with the glass plates which lead to a crack in the clear glass layer).
Fulvio Bianconi – under the direction of Murizio Albarelli – designed some piecse that were produced and sold in small series of eight piece in the 1970s. This object was made in the same time span, but never produced as part of a series. He only ever made two or three protoypes.
